Electrical / Control Manager
Location : Denver, CO
Salary Range : $120,000 to $150,000 (based on experience and knowledge)
About the Role
Sole Hire LLC has been retained to recruit on behalf of a leading client in the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) industry. This full-time direct-hire role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced electrical and controls professional to lead impactful projects with domestic and international exposure while building and developing a high-performing engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineering Delivery :
Deliver on-time, accurate, and on-budget engineering packages.
Oversee and grow the electrical and controls department, including hiring, performance reviews, and personnel management.
Develop and organize project-specific task lists, manage scheduling, and make timely decisions to avoid engineering delays.
Handle administrative tasks such as managing timesheets, job descriptions, and procurement of materials.
Plan for approximately 30% travel to project sites (domestic and international) to ensure project schedules are maintained and progress is smooth.
Requirements
Needed Skills and Qualifications
AutoCAD Electrical : Proficiency is essential for creating detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Exceptional organizational skills and a proactive approach to solving engineering challenges.
In-depth understanding of NEC standards, electrical safety protocols, and best practices in the industry.
A degree in engineering with a background in electrical systems and programming.

Requirements
What You Bring to the Table : A degree in engineering with a background in electrical and programming. Familiarity with Fanuc robots is a plus. Extensive experience in electrical cabinet design, including knowledge of both US and international codes. Proficiency in electrical drawings and BOMs with working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical. Experience with Allen Bradley programming is required; Siemens experience is a strong plus. Proven leadership experience, managing 3 engineers in a professional setting. Exceptional organizational skills and a drive to establish and grow a successful engineering team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, motivating and guiding team members. A critical thinker passionate about innovating and improving engineering processes.
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
