Solect Energy is currently seeking a full-time Massachusetts based Project Manager responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing resources and activities involved in the installation of commercial PV Solar Systems. This is a customer facing position. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of commercial solar or electrical management experience, superb customer service skills, strong technical and business acumen, and impeccable time-management skills which will enable success across multiple projects simultaneously. The candidate will be a driven, self-starter with a passion for the solar industry and the desire to propel a fast-growing Solar Development firm to regional prominence. The position requires the ability to manage a large volume of projects while demonstrating excellent professional communication. The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment is a key to success in this role. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team and participate in the solar (PV) industry from the ground up.

The expected starting pay range for this role is $78,000 - $100,000 USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern’s compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels. Key Responsibilities
- Develop a detailed timeline for all projects.
- Manage the appropriate resources to ensure projects are completed within scheduled timeframes.
- Perform regular site visits to track project progress.
- Manage customer communication and ensure excellent customer experience. Serve as the main point of contact with the customer regarding project progress.
- Manage the subcontractors to achieve agreed upon timeframes and quality standards.
- Manage all aspects of the project schedule from kickoff to closeout.
- Ensure all processes relative to materials, safety, and job quality are followed during the project.
- Provide timely project administrative information necessary to meet Solect requirements.
- Provide leadership mentoring for site supervisors.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 2 years of commercial solar or electrical experience preferred
- 2 years of project management experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Successfully managed multiple 50-250 kW DC projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Well organized with excellent time-management skills. Ability to multi-task, adapt to changing priorities and strong critical thinking skills to solve project issues quickly and effectively
- Superb customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and work well with the entire Solect team.
- Strong computer skills and detailed knowledge of G suite, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Salesforce
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Preference given to candidates with NABCEP Certification and CSL
- Willing and capable of climbing ladders, stairs and working on roof tops.
- OSHA Certification
