Role:
We are looking for energetic, professional team player with excellent communications skills. Positive attitude to deliver great customer experience and support our mission to create memorable experiences for ours guests. Our Engineer III will ensure proper maintenance of the resort through fulfillment of guest requests and on-going preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee basic repairs in the area of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, tile work, carpeting, and concrete.
- Ensure employees fulfill all guest requests in a timely manner.
- Interrogate and program SafeLok guest unit locks.
- Proactively check for and address any areas requiring maintenance or repair.
- Ensure maintenance shop(s) are clean and organized.
- Ensure inventory of all supplies are at par levels.
- Ensure proper training of all maintenance personnel.
- Monitor training of new employees.
- Ensure all employees follow all safety procedures.
- Appropriately document accidents and incidents.
- Conduct coaching, counseling, and disciplinary action.
- Create and maintain proper scheduling of employees.
- Recruit, interview, hire and train new employees.
- Ensure that operating costs are within budgetary guidelines.
- Must have working knowledge of a 2-way radio system.
- Ensure that work tasks are divided up equally among lead engineers, maintenance engineers, landscapers, and painters.
- Establish positive relationships with resort’s vendors.
- Ensure proper maintenance of the life safety systems.
- Perform all other job requests as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Must have effective oral and written English communication skills.
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years of maintenance supervisory experience.
- Must have working knowledge of minor power tool operation.
- Ability to lift, pull, and manipulate heavy objects.
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
