ROLE:
The primary responsibility of the lifeguard is to provide a safe environment while providing quality guest service. All duties reflect the property policies and procedures as it relates to Pool Operations. Lifeguards will also participate in in-services and all assigned company trainings.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow all Safety and Security procedures to protect and ensure the safety of our guests, employees and assets.
Maintain a flexible work schedule based on business needs.
Provide exceptional customer service in every interaction with owners and guests.
Cautions swimmers regarding unsafe activities.
Rescues swimmers who are in danger of drowning and administers first aid.
Maintains order in the swimming pool areas
Inspects pools and surrounding areas for cleanliness
May be asked to clean pools.
Appropriately documents accidents and incidents and other company forms as needed.
May conduct or officiate at water events such as water volleyball matches.
Facilitate swimming programs for guests.
Performs all other job requests as assigned.
Requirements
- Must possess excellent customer service skills.
- Must have effective oral and written communication skills in English.
- Must have basic math skills and aptitude.
- Must have a professional appearance and attitude.
- Clark County or Red Cross Certified Lifeguard (a plus) or company will certify you
