Made for those who appreciate the ritual of slowing down and being present, Solento is an award-winning, USDA-certified organic tequila range. Solento was launched in December 2019 by Founder Taylor Steele and his team. The Brand Ambassador reports into the Market Manager, Florida. This role operates primarily in Tampa, FL.
Brand Ambassador
A Solento Brand Ambassador will serve as the face of the brand and the first friend people make at Solento. Solento Brand Ambassadors are tastemakers in their communities, who will tap into their already established networks and relationships to create and execute sales opportunities. This role can serve as an opportunity for potential growth within Solento. The ideal candidate has existing relationships in the hospitality industry (ideally bars and restaurants that focus on agave spirits), and has hospitality experience in Tampa, FL.
How you’ll be spending your time
- Seek sales opportunities by leveraging your existing network, and forging introductions to prospective customer decision-makers to schedule meetings
- Set up, break down, and execute experiential brand activations and events including but not limited to community events, curated brand events, happy hours, and on/off-premise tastings.
- Spread the Solento word! We will teach you all there is about the Solento story, flavor profile, production process, etc so you can share your knowledge with bar staff, beverage directors, and consumers.
- Additional duties as needed

Qualifications:
- Must be over 21
- Prior alcohol industry experience preferred
- A strong network within the Tampa hospitality scene
- Must have reliable transportation
- Be able to lift 24 pounds (a case of Solento) and stand for 2-3 hours at a time
- Must be comfortable with face-to-face interactions (this is not a remote position)
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Compensation & Benefits:
- Part-Time (up to 39 hours per week)
- Paid Hourly Commission
- Monthly Travel Entertainment Budget (i.e. gas reimbursement)
- Product Samples Company Merchandise (i.e. Clothing)
