Concierge Resposibilities
The Concierge plays a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment for residents, families, and visitors. As the first point of contact, the Concierge provides assistance at the front desk, answers phone calls, handles clerical tasks, and supports community events.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, family members, and residents with warmth and professionalism
- Answer telephone calls promptly, providing information and taking messages as required
- Sort and distribute mail to appropriate departments
- Handle clerical tasks such as typing, filing, and organizing documents
- Maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to residents’ rights policies
- Operate office equipment including computers, copy machines, and postage machines
- Provide compassionate and friendly service to residents and their families
- Escort visitors to resident suites and other areas when necessary
- Keep referral, mailing lists, and customer information up to date
- Assist with data entry and database maintenance
- Support new resident move-in processes as needed
- Assist with event setup and takedown for community programs
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, and team members
- Adhere to professional dress code and represent Solera in a positive manner
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Community Development
- Previous customer service and/or receptionist experience preferred
- Proficiency in basic office equipment (computer, copy machines, phones, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of resident rights, confidentiality, and professional etiquette
- Ability to show genuine compassion and concern for older adults and their families
- A friendly, patient, and understanding demeanor
- Ability to stay calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Salary : $19 - $20
