Overview and Responsibility The Director of Wellness at Trulee Evanston is responsible for coordinating and overseeing resident care services to promote independence, health, and well-being. This role involves working closely with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and community partners to ensure high-quality care. The Director of Wellness also leads, trains, and manages the wellness team to maintain exceptional service and compliance with federal and state regulations. Key Responsibilities Resident Care & Compliance: Ensure residents receive top-quality care while following all state and federal regulations. Team Leadership: Hire, train, evaluate, and manage the wellness team, ensuring they are equipped to provide outstanding care. Assessments & Care Plans: Conduct initial and ongoing assessments for residents, developing individualized care plans to meet their needs. Medication Management: Oversee medication administration, coordinate prescriptions with doctors and pharmacies, and maintain compliance with regulations. Family & Community Relations: Serve as a key liaison for residents and their families, providing updates and support as needed. Training & Development: Ensure all caregivers and medical staff complete required training and education programs. Emergency Preparedness: Maintain a safe and secure environment by ensuring all emergency procedures and safety measures are in place. Budget & Inventory Management: Assist with budgeting for the department and oversee inventory of medical and wellness supplies. Qualifications & Requirements Licensed nurse (RN preferred) or equivalent healthcare experience in senior living. Prior leadership experience in a healthcare or senior living setting. Strong knowledge of dementia care, assisted living regulations, and wellness programs. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
