Critical Operations and Financial Analysis
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to provide in-depth operational and financial analysis, identifying opportunities for improvement within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in product line profitability analysis, quoting, product costing, and capital spending analysis.
The successful candidate will support the monthly forecasting process, annual budgeting, and period-end close process. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing processes within the Finance/Accounting department.
A key aspect of this role is analyzing individual product lines to identify areas for contribution margin and profitability improvement. The candidate will communicate product line financial performance to product line leaders and plant management, assisting in driving improvements.
Additionally, the selected professional will assist the Controller with new business quotes and standard cost establishment. They will work closely with purchasing, manufacturing engineering, and product line leaders to assess manufacturing processes and associated costs.
This position requires consistent participation in cross-functional teams, financial analysis, and project leadership. The successful candidate will prepare Appropriation Requests (AR) for capital spending to be submitted to management for approval.
To support the Plant's mission, the selected professional will apply financial modeling tools to analyze new business investments, make vs. buy scenarios, etc. They will utilize resource allocation tools such as ROI, IRR, NPV, and Payback Period.
Other responsibilities include assisting with the design and implementation of financial control policies, preparing the annual operating budget, and creating monthly financial forecasts.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Action-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in PLEX/SAP/Hyperion (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Cost accounting experience a plus
- CPA and/or MBA a plus
