Position Details

• Role: 1:1 Private Duty Nurse
• Location: Sturtevant, WI
• Student: 3rd grade student
• Schedule: Full-time (Hours to be discussed)
• Caseload: 1 student
  
  

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide direct, individualized nursing care for a 3rd grade student with specialized health needs.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage any medical equipment as required.
• Accompany the student on the bus to ensure safe transit between home and school.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to maintain continuity of care and address any health concerns throughout the school day.
• Maintain accurate and detailed health records and communicate changes promptly.
  
  

Requirements

• Must hold an active LPN or RN license in Wisconsin.
• Proven experience in pediatric or school nursing is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic educational environment and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
