Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Special Education Teaching Certification
- Experience working with students in grades 4-5
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Ability to work in-person, Monday through Friday, from 7:45 AM to 3:40 PM
- Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) for students
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in both small and large group settings
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Collaborate with other educators, parents, and staff members
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and documentation
- Support students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills
