Soliant Education is looking to hire a Sign Language Interpreterin the Dayton, Ohio areafor the current school year for a local partner school district.
Needed Credentials:Certification by the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), or have a score of 3.5or above on the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA). Those with lower scores and recent experience as welcome to apply!
Preferred Skills:Experience interpreting in school-based, educational, or child-centered environments. Familiarity with educational terminology and protocols. Strong ability to adapt to various settings and styles of interpretation.
Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday when school is in session
Compensation and Benefits:W2 contracted position for the 2024-2025school year with potential for contract renewal
Weekly pay, paid for all hours worked
Travel stipends available for those wanting a travel contract, plus travel bonuses/reimbursements
Benefits include health, vision, dental, and 401(k) for consistent part-time or full-time employees
Competitive and negotiable hourly rate based on experience
Range: $30- $48/hour
