Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in bilingual students.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services in both English and Spanish.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and strategies.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid Texas SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience in providing speech-language services in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and support staff.
