What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cantonment, FL: School-based Speech-Language Pathologist position at Soliant?
Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists and Clinical Fellows who want to work with education munities in the Florida panhandle! Soliant has partnered with several schools right on the Alabama-Florida border, and is seeking applicants for the next school year.
We seek candidates who:

Caseload outlines:
- Typical caseload serves 60-65 students
- All SLPs will serve a mix of General Education students, and 1-2 self-contained classrooms of students who need speech services
- Elementary school SLPs will also be responsible for 1-2 preschool Special Education classrooms
- Details on specific building assignments are pending, as enrollment numbers and referrals between grade levels are being finalized
Duties include:
- Providing speech and/or language therapy to students identified with munication disorders.
- Maintaining accurate service records of students on caseload
- Evaluating students with suspected munication disorders; making remendations for speech and language services as needed
- Providing prehensive written report of observations, assessment results, and remendations within the standards established by state guidelines
- Developing speech and language goals in Individualized Education Programs
- Developing integrated goals with other education staff for students with multiple or other disabilities.
- Consulting with school staff and parents on the inclusion of materials to support speech and language development, or other areas of curriculum related to speech and language.
Requirements:
- Florida SLP license
