Soliant Health is searching for a committed retail pharmacist to join a dynamic team in Syracuse, NY. This is an ideal role for someone who values teamwork, patient-focused care, and providing outstanding service.

Employment Type: Contract with potential for full-time hire

Shifts Available

• 8-hour shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• 12-hour shift: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Prescription Dispensing: Ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medications.
• Patient Guidance: Counsel patients on proper medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
• Prescription Verification: Review prescriptions for accuracy and compliance.
• Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, place orders, and manage expiration checks.
• Collaborative Care: Partner with healthcare providers to enhance patient outcomes.
• Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to pharmacy laws and industry standards.
• RX30 Software: Use RX30 software for patient records (training available).
• Team Supervision: Support and supervise pharmacy technicians.
• Customer Service: Address patient inquiries with professionalism.
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM): Offer MTM services to promote optimal health.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: Pharm.D. or equivalent degree
• Licensure: Active NY pharmacist license
• Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and organization
• Experience: Familiarity with RX30 is a plus (training available)
• Preferred: COVID-19 vaccination (not required)
