Responsibilities
- Serve as the supervising pharmacist/pharmacist-in-charge, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and board of pharmacy regulations, as well as company policies.
- Manage pharmacy operations to meet financial goals, including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Lead business development activities in-store and within the local community.
- Oversee pharmacy support staff, conducting performance reviews, providing guidance, and ensuring compliance with training and policies.
- Deliver patient-centered services such as immunizations, MTM (Medication Therapy Management), and wellness programs.
- Counsel patients and healthcare providers on drug use, dosages, interactions, side effects, and monitor patients progress to optimize therapies.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement programs to uphold patient safety and maintain department standards.
- Ensure all team members complete required training and uphold company and legal standards for the department.
- Licensure: Active Vermont Pharmacist License.
- Certification: Immunization Certification (required).
- Experience: Prior Pharmacy Manager experience (preferred).
- Skills: Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication, and a commitment to patient care.
- Vaccinations: Must be comfortable administering all vaccines.
