Caseload: 6 Elementary Students (Grades 4-6)
Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:25 AM - 2:55 PM (35 hours per week)
Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (Educational Specialist) for a full-time position, serving elementary students in grades 4-6 with severe needs in a Special Day Class (SDC) setting. Interviews are available all this week!
Responsibilities:- Provide specialized instruction and support to 6 elementary students with severe needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
- Collaborate with other educators, parents, and professionals to ensure effective instruction and support.
- Manage and monitor student progress, making necessary adjustments to support student success.
- Experience: Previous experience in Special Education and fortable working with students with severe needs.
- Credential: Must have a Moderate/Severe or Education Specialist in Special Needs (ESN) credential.
- Skills: Experience with the SPED Information System (SIRAS) for case management is a plus, though training will be provided.
