Position : (ELA) English-Language Arts Teacher
ABILITY TO WORK IN THE UNITED STATES WITHOUT VISA SPONSORSHIP IS REQUIRED
We are currently accepting applications for the following two positions :
Elementary English-Language Arts (ELA) Teacher
Middle School English-Language Arts (ELA) Teacher
Role Tasks :
Develop lessons from district approved curriculum that engage students and help them to understand the core concepts and achieve petencies in English-language arts.
Conduct student-teacher conferences that discuss student performance, areas of improvement, and suggestions for increasing their grade average.
Present ELA subject matter to students in a variety of ways, including the implementation of technology in the classroom.
Maintain a classroom environment that is safe, appropriate, and productive, and that allows students to learn in a meaningful way.
Monitor and enforce all codes of conduct and ensure that students always adhere to all administrative policies.
Other general duties of teachers, and additional tasks that are assigned by administration.
Requirements :
Must have an Active CDE Certification Teachers License
Must have a bachelors degree from an accredited institution
Relevant experience teaching an English-Language Arts class
