Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality X-ray imaging procedures as per physician orders.
- Ensure accurate positioning of patients to produce optimal images.
- Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Provide compassionate patient care, ensuring safety and comfort during procedures.
- Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to review images and deliver results.
- ARRT Certification (required).
- State of Alabama Radiologic Technologist License (or eligibility to obtain).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent X-ray imaging experience.
- Familiarity with digital and portable X-ray equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (with potential for extension).
- Shift: Variable shifts, with possible weekend or on-call rotations.
