Soliant is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for someone with 1-3 years of experience who is eager to directly support our leaders and sales teams by building, maintaining, and analyzing reports in Power BI and ad hoc queries using SQL to support business decision-making.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain financial reports in Power BI, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
- Develop and execute ad hoc SQL queries to gather, analyze, and present financial data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Support the automation of reporting processes and enhance existing tools and dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with internal reporting standards and best practices.
Skills and Qualifications We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in financial reporting, data analysis, or a related role.
- Proficiency in Power BI for building reports and visualizations.
- Experience with SQL and Excel for querying and analyzing data.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
