Full Time Inpatient/IV Pharmacist - Paramus, NJ

Are you an experienced hospital pharmacist looking for a fast-paced, rewarding opportunity? We are urgently seeking Inpatient/IV Pharmacists and Medication Reconciliation Pharmacists for a 13-week contract in Paramus, NJ, with a start date of April 21. These positions offer day shifts (7:00 AM 3:30 PM) with weekend rotations in a highly regarded hospital setting.

IV Pharmacist Responsibilities

• Perform sterile compounding in accordance with USP 797/800 standards
• Conduct hands-on IV preparation, checking, and verification
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and safety protocols
• Collaborate with pharmacy and healthcare teams to optimize patient care
  
  

Medication Reconciliation Pharmacist Responsibilities

• Work within the Emergency Department to collect and review patient medication histories
• Ensure accurate documentation and medication continuity for incoming patients
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers to verify prescriptions
• Identify potential drug interactions and medication-related issues
  
  

Requirements

• Active New Jersey Pharmacist License (must be in hand)
• Hospital experience required with a strong background in inpatient pharmacy operations
• IV Pharmacists: Hands-on IV compounding, verification, and USP 797/800 compliance
• Medication Reconciliation Pharmacists: Direct experience conducting med recs in an acute care or emergency setting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a high-volume hospital environment
• Full-time availability for an immediate start
