Schedule
- Monday Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Flexibility offered after training early start/late end options available, as long as 40 hours/week are completed and cycle checks are fulfilled.
- Minimum 8-week assignment with strong potential for permanent hire
- Perform accurate and efficient medication cycle checks for LTC facilities
- Verify prescriptions and medication orders with attention to detail and compliance
- Ensure accuracy of drug dosages and labeling
- Maintain strict adherence to all state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Communicate clearly and professionally with pharmacy staff and long-term care facility partners
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of workflow and accuracy standards
- Provide top-tier customer service to facilities and staff while maintaining patient safety as a top priority
- Active and unrestricted Nebraska Pharmacist License
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacist in any setting
- Long-term care and cycle checking experience required
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with pharmacy software systems
- Passion for quality care and commitment to patient safety
