Job Overview

As a Retail Staff Pharmacist, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications, supervising pharmacy technicians, and providing exceptional patient care. You will work in a dynamic environment with varying shifts, including days, evenings, and rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medications while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service and patient counseling on medication use, side effects, and interactions.
• Supervise and lead experienced pharmacy technicians to maintain efficiency and high-quality service.
• Perform opening and closing duties of the pharmacy as required.
• Administer immunizations to eligible patients in accordance with state regulations.
• Utilize the EPRN pharmacy system for prescription processing.
• Maintain proper inventory management to ensure medication availability.
  
  

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Pharmacist License (required).
• At least 6 months of retail pharmacy experience (required).
• Experience supervising pharmacy technicians and performing opening/closing duties (required).
• Immunization certification (required).
• Experience with the EPRN pharmacy system (preferred).
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and provide outstanding patient care.
