Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments for students, focusing onre-evaluationsfor eligibility for special education services.
- Lead eligibility meetings, providing all necessary documentation and data to inform decision-making.
- Develop detailed psychological reports and provide recommendations based on assessment results.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and administrators to support the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all evaluations, meetings, and student progress.
- Masters or Doctoral Degree in Psychology or a related field.
- ValidSchool Psychologist Licensein the state of South Carolina.
- Experience working with students with social/emotional disabilities and/or multiple disabilities preferred.
- Strong understanding of assessment procedures, eligibility criteria, and the IEP process.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
