- Facilitate communication between deaf/hard-of-hearing and hearing individuals
- Interpret spoken language into various forms of sign language and vice versa
- Adhere to professional code of ethics and maintain confidentiality
- Collaborate with other interpreters and professionals as needed
- Adapt interpreting style to match the linguistic needs of clients
- Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) Score: 4.0 w/written
- NIC/RID certified candidate will be considered as well
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Sign Language Interpreting
- GAPSC Educational Interpreter License preferred but not required
- Fluency in American Sign Language and English
