Position Details

• 2 Life Skills Teachers
• 2 Resource Teachers
• Schedule: Full-time
• Certification Requirement: Active Maine Special Education Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Adapt curriculum to meet the needs of students with diverse learning abilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular updates.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Active Special Education Certification in Maine (required).
• Previous experience in Life Skills or Resource settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
