Position Highlights
- Setting: Specialty Pharmacy with Long-Term Care Focus
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM 5:30 PM Some weekend shifts required
- Duration: 13 week travel contract
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Fulfill long-term care pharmacist duties including order verification, medication dispensing, and patient profile review
- Ensure proper handling, labeling, and documentation of all medications
- Work closely with pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure efficient operations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy for patients
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Utilize pharmacy management systems to streamline workflow and maintain records
- Active Minnesota Pharmacist License or the ability to reciprocate an existing license
- PharmD degree
- Minimum of 3 years of pharmacist experience in a long-term care, retail, or specialty pharmacy setting
- Immunization Certification
- CPR Certification
- MTM Certification or a solid understanding of medication therapy management
- Strong organizational skills, clinical knowledge, and the ability to adapt quickly to new environments
- Immediate availability to begin the assignment
