Position: Full-time Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Cicero, Illinois
Duration: Full School Year
Hours: 35 hours per week
Caseload: K-12 (Kindergarten through 12th grade)
Work Environment: Itinerant (travel between schools)
Requirements:
- SLP CCC or CFY certification.
- Illinois state licensure as a Speech and Language Pathologist.
- Experience or interest in working with students across K-12 grade levels.
- Ability to travel between schools within the district.
- Strong munication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and families.
- mitment to providing high-quality speech and language therapy services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings and students' IEP goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students across various school settings.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy techniques as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social development.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language goals and progress.
