Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Active Pennsylvania SLPlicensure.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
- Previous school-based experience is highly preferred, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students both one-on-one and in small groups.
- Monitor and document students progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities.
- Educate and support parents and guardians on strategies to support their child's communication development.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
