Full Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Job - Bossier City, LA

Soliant is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team near Bossier City, LA. This role is situated within a school environment, and we are looking for an ideal candidate who can work closely with students to improve their speech and language abilities throughout the upcoming school year.

Position Details

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths and areas needing improvement in speech and language
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans based on each student's unique needs and goals
• Preference for candidates with school-based or pediatric experience, although not mandatory
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to enhance articulation, language comprehension, and communication skills
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for each student
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and treatment plans
• Participate in meetings, training sessions, and workshops to stay informed about the latest therapy techniques and best practices
  
  

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active State Speech-Language Pathology License
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred
• Familiarity with various treatment approaches and modalities, such as AAC, PROMPT, and social communication interventions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
• Proficiency in organizing and managing accurate records, time, and tasks effectively
