We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Paraprofessional to join our exceptional team of educators. This positionwill provide specialized instruction, support, and advocacy to students with disabilities, ensuring their academic and personal growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of inclusive education practices, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
Job Description :
Assist teachers in providing instruction and support to students in various educational settings.
Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
Implement behavior management strategies as directed by the teacher.
Assist with classroom management and organization of materials.
Provide instructional assistance in areas such as reading, writing, math, and other subjects.
Support students with special needs, including physical, emotional, or learning disabilities.
Supervise students during non-instructional periods such as lunch, recess, and field trips.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to support the overall educational goals of the school.
Educational Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Completion of at least 60 college credit hours preferred.
Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting preferred.
Knowledge of educational principles and practices beneficial.
