Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals to address munication disorders.
- Provide therapeutic interventions through individual and group therapy sessions to support students' speech and language development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to create a collaborative approach to student care.
- Monitor and document students' progress regularly, making adjustments to therapy strategies as needed.
- Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute valuable insights.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munication Disorders.
- ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for certification.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist inLouisiana.
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is advantageous, though new graduates are wele to apply.
