Position Overview

A large teaching hospital in Chicago is seeking a Hospital Pharmacist for an immediate opening. This role involves direct collaboration with healthcare teams in a fast-paced inpatient setting. Key Responsibilities

• Verify and approve medication orders.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians.
• Consult with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers on medication therapy.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
• Utilize EPIC for order entry and Pyxis for automated dispensing.
  
  

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Pharmacist License (required).
• Hospital pharmacy experience (preferred).
• Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
