Position Details
- Schedule: Variable days and afternoons, 10-hour shifts
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks , with potential for contract-to-hire
- Job Duties:
- Assist with medication preparation and dispensing in an inpatient setting
- Prepare and deliver medications to patient care areas
- Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring medication availability and accuracy
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and optimal medication therapy
- Support medication order verification and help with sterile compounding when necessary
- Ideal Candidate:
- AZ Pharmacy Technician License required
- Inpatient pharmacy experience is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a team environment
