Position Overview

Soliant Health is seeking an experienced Interim Pharmacy Manager to join our team at our pharmacy client in Iowa.This position offers an exciting opportunity for a qualified candidate with experience in long-term care settings. The role includes managing the day-to-day pharmacy operations and overseeing medication management for residents in a long-term care environment.

Duration: Open to temporary-to-hire (TTH)

Schedule: Day shift rotating weekends

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacy operations in a long-term care setting
• Provide patient care services, including medication reviews and counseling
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and staff
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Manage medication inventory and distribution
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  
  

Ideal Candidate

• Must hold an IA Pharmacy License
• PharmD or MTM Certified
• Prior Pharmacy Manager or PIC experience is required
• Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively
• Strong communication and organizational skills
