Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech for a travel assignment in Wausau, WI. This role is ideal for a tech looking to expand their experience while working with a highly skilled medical team in a top-tier facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with image-guided procedures, including angiography, biopsies, and catheter placements.
• Operate and maintain fluoroscopy and digital imaging equipment to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare and position patients while maintaining strict radiation safety protocols.
• Monitor patients during procedures and provide compassionate care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and procedural documentation.
  
  

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (VI) preferred.
• Wisconsin state license (or eligibility).
• Minimum of 2 years of IR Tech experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Strong knowledge of vascular and interventional imaging techniques.
