Position Overview : We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dynamic and committed General Education Teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This position is a contracted hourly role based in the area of the beautiful city of
Responsibilities :
Develop and implement engaging and rigorous lesson plans that align with state standards and curriculum expectations.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and empowered to succeed.
Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students and promote academic excellence.
Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments and use data to inform instructional decisions and interventions.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and stakeholders to support student learning and well-being.
Communicate proactively with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and academic goals through conferences, emails, and other means of communication.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Valid teaching certification in the state
Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to differentiate instruction and provide support for diverse learners.
Commitment to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice.
Contract Details :
Duration : 2024-2025 school year
Hours : To be determined based on school schedule and needs
