Position Type : Full-Time M-F
Caseload : Elementary, Middle, or High school (Which is your preference?)
Pay range : $20- $32 depending on qualifications and experience
Responsibilities :
Provide direct healthcare services to a students. Those needs mightincludefirst aid, administering medications, and or managing chronic health conditions.
Assess and respond to students' health concerns, injuries, and illnesses promptly, providing appropriate care and referrals as needed.
Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with specific medical needs, in collaboration with parents / guardians and other healthcare providers.
Maintain accurate and confidential health records, including immunization records, health assessments, and documentation of healthcare services provided.
Educate students, parents, and staff on health-related topics, including preventive care, hygiene practices, and emergency procedures.
Trach and vent support possibly
Helping the student navigate around the school
Qualifications : Valid CNAlicense
Experience working as a nurse in a school, pediatric, or related healthcare setting (experience in an educational setting preferred).
Strong clinical skills, including first aid, medication administration, and assessment of common childhood illnesses and injuries.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff members.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
