This is a full-time, school-based position that will run now through the end of the current school year. Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy to students from K-12 in a school setting
- Evaluate and assess students' speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure students success
- Provide direct and consultative services to students with speech-language impairments
- Track and document student progress, maintaining accurate records
- Attend IEP meetings and provide updates on student progress as needed
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Texas state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working in a school setting is a plus
