Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Occupational Therapist to work with a K-12thschool caseload. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and providing therapy to students, developing individualized plans, and collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's specific needs and goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create supportive educational environments.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals.
- Educate school staff and parents on strategies to support students' occupational therapy needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and healthcare professionals
