Job Title: School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our school team, supporting students with diverse needs to improve their functional and academic participation. The OT will work with students, teachers, and families to assess and provide therapeutic interventions that enhance fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care activities in the school setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify students needs related to occupational performance in school.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student goals within the classroom environment.
• Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide documentation of progress.
• Educate families and staff on strategies to promote student independence.
  
  

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy (required).
• Current CAOT license (required).
• Experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations (preferred).
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
