Key Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations to assess students' needs and develop appropriate therapy plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student goals.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions tailored to each students needs.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate staff and families on strategies to support student development.
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Louisiana.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
