- 4.0 or higher EIPA scorepreferred
- Experience working with elementary-aged students is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must pass a background check.
Responsibilities:
- Provide sign language interpretation services in the classroom for an elementary student.
- Facilitate communication between the student, teacher, and peers.
- Support the student in following lessons, understanding assignments, and participating in activities.
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, when necessary, to ensure appropriate educational access for the student. Work closely with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure effective communication and learning experiences.
