Operating Room Nurse Need: Travel Position in the Montgomery, AL Area

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a travel assignment in Montgomery, Alabama. Join a dedicated surgical team in a fast-paced hospital environment and make a direct impact on patient care.

Position Overview

• Location: Montgomery, AL
• Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
• Assignment Type: Travel Contract
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 10 or 12-hour shifts (days or evenings), with on-call as needed
  
  

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Circulate and/or scrub in a variety of surgeries including general, ortho, ENT, and more
• Monitor patient safety and maintain a sterile field
• Collaborate with surgeons, surgical techs, and anesthesia providers
• Document accurately and adhere to facility protocols and procedures
  
  

Requirements

• Active RN license (Alabama or compact)
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation
• Ability to work well under pressure in a collaborative environment
