Responsibilities :
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify occupational performance needs in areas like fine motor skills, gross motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and play skills
Utilize standardized assessments and observations to determine the level of support needed
Develop individualized therapy plans based on assessment results, including specific goals, interventions, and measurable outcomes
Provide direct therapy interventions, which may include activities like hand strengthening exercises, sensory integration activities, adaptive equipment training, and visual motor skills development
Collaboration with teachers, parents, and administration
Discuss evaluations results and therapy plans with parents, provide home-based activities to support the students progress outside of therapy sessions, and collaborate with parents to address concerns and ensure consistent implementation of interventions
