Job Description:
Soliant is seeking a skilled RBT/Paraprofessional to join our team in Windham, Connecticut. The successful candidate will work closely with students, providing behavioral support and assistance in the classroom environment to help them achieve their educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Support classroom teachers with lesson implementation and classroom management.
- Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students as needed.
- Collect and record data on student progress and behavior.
- Adapt instructional materials for students with special needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, and other staff members to foster a positive and productive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; RBT certification preferred.
- Previous experience working with children, particularly in a behavioral or educational setting, is advantageous.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Patience, adaptability, and a mitment to supporting student success.
