Job Description:
Soliant Education is seeking a qualified and dedicated Per Diem Physical Therapist to join our team and support a school district in Elyria, Ohio. This role is perfect for a flexible professional who thrives in an educational setting and is passionate about helping students succeed.
As a Physical Therapist, you will:
- Oversee Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs).
- Conduct evaluations (approximately 29 anticipated for the school year).
- plete and participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Attend meetings related to student evaluations and IEP planning.
Key Details:
- Work Hours: Vary depending on evaluation deadlines and meetings. Some weeks may have no hours, while others may require up to 20 hours.
- Direct Therapy: No direct therapy minutes are required for this position.
Qualifications:
- Licenses:
- Valid State of Ohio Physical Therapy license.
- ODEW (Ohio Department of Education) Physical Therapy license or registration.
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred but not required.
