Soliant is seeking an experienced InfusionPharmacist to join our team in Ithaca, NY. This is an exciting opportunity in the pharmaceutical field for a 13-week contract to hire within an outpatient infusion setting. Title: InfusionPharmacist

Location: Ithaca, NY

Setting: Outpatient Infusion

Duration: 13-weeks (Contract to Hire)

Schedule/Shift: Mon Fri (Days)

Duties

• Supervising IV techs and checking/verifying.
• Hands-on sterile compounding of IVs, TPNs, and other infusion drugs.
• Transfers prescriptions, and provides drug information in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
• Performs medication order entry into the computer, monitors patient profiles for appropriate medication use oversees the work of the support staff, and documents any relevant intervention.
• The position is expected to meet state certifications, requires familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures, and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  
  

Experience

• Some current oncology/chemo experience.
