Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Pharmacy Manager to join our Long Term Care pharmacy team in Iowa. In this leadership role, you will manage the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring high-quality medication management for residents. This position offers flexibility for either contract-to-hire or permanent placement, with rotating weekend shifts to ensure continuous pharmacy support.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee the daily operations of the Long Term Care Pharmacy.
Supervise pharmacy staff and work closely with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and safety protocols in the pharmacy.
Conduct medication reviews, assess drug interactions, and provide medication therapy management (MTM) recommendations.
Lead and mentor the pharmacy team, maintaining a high standard of practice and care.
Ideal Candidate :
Active Iowa Pharmacy License.
PharmD or MTM Certified.
Previous Pharmacy Manager or PIC (Pharmacy-In-Charge) experience.
Experience in Long Term Care pharmacy settings preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Availability to work rotating weekends as part of the schedule.
