Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the supervising pharmacist (Pharmacist-in-Charge), ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and pharmacy regulations, along with company policies.
- Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory management, while achieving financial goals.
- Lead business development initiatives both within the pharmacy and the local community.
- Oversee pharmacy staff, providing guidance, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring adherence to training and compliance standards.
- Provide patient-centered services, including immunizations, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and wellness programs.
- Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication use, dosages, interactions, and potential side effects, while monitoring patients' progress to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement programs to ensure patient safety and uphold department standards.
- Ensure all pharmacy team members complete required training and comply with legal and company standards.
- Licensure: Active Vermont Pharmacist License
- Certification: Immunization Certification (required)
- Experience: Prior Pharmacy Manager experience (preferred)
- Skills: Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
- Vaccination: Must be comfortable administering all vaccines.
