We are looking for a skilled Pharmacy Technician with inpatient and IV experience to work variable day and afternoon shifts, including rotating weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
- Assist pharmacists in filling and labeling prescriptions.
- Compound IV medications and perform aseptic techniques.
- Maintain inventory and assist with medication ordering.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication therapy.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Georgia.
- Inpatient and IV experience is a must.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication safety practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
